Oh my goodness, April was such a whirlwind! We photographed three engagement sessions, two Pillow Talk sessions, a styled shoot, three events, and a gorgeous wedding. And as we enter wedding season, we took a quick look back and realized just how lucky we are to be surrounded by such inspiring couples and friends.

We traveled to Tokyo from April 6th to the 14th (find Part One here!). We averaged 22,000 steps, walked more than 8 miles everyday, and had some very sore feet. It was such an incredible adventure, including cherry blossoms, hedgehogs, monkeys, and so much sushi. When we returned home, Oreo and Amber were on us the minute we walked through the door. Oreo would not stop petting Aileen’s face! On April 17th, Natasha and Anthony were married at the Ivy Room. Their wedding was stunning and utterly romantic. And if you were wondering whether three photographers, a beautiful bride, a handsome groom, and an attendant can fit in our car, the answer is YES! Hahaha! We also danced the night away to Chelsea Dagger at the United Center during Game 6. And when we were given the opportunity to drive to St. Louis for Game 7, we couldn’t say no! While the game didn’t end the way we wanted, our one day adventure was filled with laughter, fast food, and so much cheering – Let’s go Hawks! Driving 5 hours to see the Chicago Blackhawks play was so much fun. What a great series! Aileen celebrated the end of April by going to Arts ‘n Spirits with a group of talented photographers who we are lucky to call our friends.
