A couple weeks ago, we decided to take the day off and enjoy the last few days of fall with our friends. After a flat tire, check engine light, and a few bathroom breaks (and creating the next hit song, “We Are Never Going To Get There”), we made finally made it to Starved Rock State Park. It was such a beautiful day and exactly what we needed! We are extremely lucky to live so close to such an amazing place. We ate cookies next to a dry waterfall and took in the amazing scenery. The silence was a much appreciated change from Chicago. It was so peaceful. And of course, since all six of us are wedding photographers, we all took pictures of our adventure. We even helped couples along the way to take a few portraits! Can’t wait to do it all again.
