Oh Darling, Let’s Be Adventurers | California, Part One

February 14, 2016

I may have been born in California, but I never had the opportunity to explore its cliffs, redwood forests, and breathtaking ocean views. And that’s exactly what we did for my 29th birthday. We stayed a few days in Big Sur before heading down to Joshua Tree to hang out with 100 of the most talented wedding photographers ever. Our AirBNB was in the middle of a redwood forest with no reception. It was the perfect way to disconnect from the world. We cuddled under the stars with the rain lightly hitting our faces, and we knew at that moment this adventure was something we will never forget. Over the three days that we spent in Big Sur, we hiked local trails, saw the waves crash against McWay Falls, and visited local wineries. We even discovered seals, otters, and some very happy California cows.

Thank you California. We were inspired. Can’t wait to share you our experience at Heck Yeah Photo Camp in part two!

XOXO,

Aileen
