A couple months ago, we were able to spend twelve days exploring China. Starting in Tianjin, we began our adventure with a little hiccup, leading Ed to experience the inside of a Chinese hospital firsthand . . . eek! Luckily, Ed recovered quickly. We then made our way to Chang’an to visit Aileen’s grandparents. We haven’t seen them since our wedding, so it was such a happy reunion! We even met their two adorable and super spoiled kitties. From Hong Kong to the Great Wall of China, we were lucky enough to experience the culture, food (we all knew Ed was feeling better when he finished a whole plate full of spicy crawfish!), and scenery. It was simply beautiful. We ended our adventure in Beijing, seeing the Beijing Olympic campus and eating the most delicious Peking duck.
What an incredible journey! We can’t wait to go back.
