Jess and Drew’s wedding was bursting at the seams with love and happiness.  As we got to know these two over the last year, especially during their sunrise engagement session, we grew more and more excited for their spring wedding. It’s not hard to just love these two! And on May 7th, with their friends and family gathered to celebrate their marriage, these two began a new chapter together at the Starline Factory in Harvard, IL. From an emotional first look on Lake Geneva to a heartfelt ceremony, the whole day was simply beautiful.

Three years ago, Drew wrote Jess a little note with the lyrics to a Mumford & Sons song, and that note was the beginning of their love story. So for their ceremony, Drew sang “After The Storm” to his new wife, and it was incredible. When Drew started singing, the entire room was left breathless because we all immediately knew that this was their song. That this was real, and that he loves Jess with all his heart.

After the wedding, we tracked down a recording to hopefully create something meaningful to the newlyweds. We wanted to tell the story of their wedding day through Drew’s performance. I would tell everyone considering a photographer to use them!! They were an essential part of our wedding, everyone won’t stop talking about the pictures they have seen so far, and we are beyond amazed at how great they are!!!
