Amanda and Adam live in Alberta, Canada, and we live in Chicago. We instantly connected via FaceTime. And we met for the first time in-person in a cute little cottage on the edge of Edinburgh, Scotland. The whole experience was beyond magical. We are so honored to have been able to capture their fairytale wedding, and feel incredibly blessed that their friends and family embraced us with open arms. By the end of the wedding weekend, we felt like we were all family!!

Adam started the day with a sunrise golf outing with his boys, while Amanda did her hair and makeup with her family and future inlaws. It was a quiet and peaceful morning filled with happy tears and lots of laughs. Amanda’s mom and sister helped her put on a gorgeous laced wedding dress and floral crown. At their venue, Dalhousie Castle Hotel, they were then met with a bagpiper who led Amanda to the ceremony. And three words: OWL RING BEARER. From there, it was a causal evening with an intimate dinner and a quick drink at the bar before calling it a night. What an amazing celebration for two incredible people.

Unlike weddings in the United States, marriage certificate is actually signed during the ceremony!!! Such a sweet moment to be witnessed by all the guests.

After their ceremony, Amanda and Adam spent a few minutes alone, exploring the grounds of Dalhousie Castle as husband and wife. Later, their best man and maid of honor met up for some big laughs and celebratory hugs before heading to dinner.
